Indian Air Force Recruitment Rally Gujarat 2020 Notification & Apply Online

Brief Information :
Indian Air Force offers opportunities for UNMARRIED MALE INDIAN/NEPALESE CITIZENS from all districts of the state of Gujarat, UT of Daman & Diu, and UT of Dadar & Nagar Haveli to join as airmen. The recruitment test is for Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical trades) except Automobile Technician, Indian Air Force (Police), Indian Air Force (Security), and musician trades will be held at Kendriya Vidyalaya Air Force, Makarpura, Vadodara (Gujarat). Note: Pre-Registration for the rally will start at 1100 hrs on 08 September 2020 and will close at 1700 hrs on 10 September 2020 on the web portal www.airmenselection.cdac.in. In view of COVID-19 restrictions and consequent testing constrains, limited candidates can be tested. In case of oversubscription, shortlisted candidates based on merit [Percentage (%) marks obtained in Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent examination/Vocational course (as applicable)] would be issued provisional admit cards. Only candidates issued with provisional admit cards are allowed to appear in the Indian Air Force recruitment rally Gujarat 2020.

The recruitment test shall be conducted as per the details given below. Candidates from all districts of the state of Gujarat, UT of Daman & Diu, and UT of Dadar & Nagar Haveli fulfilling the domicile requirements and eligibility conditions are to report as per the date and time mentioned in the call letter at the rally venue.

Important Dates:

Educational Qualification :

·      For Group ‘X’ Trades (Except Education Instructor Trade) -  Passed intermediate / 10+2 / equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR Three year Diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical /Electrical /Electronics / Automobile /Computer Science /Instrumentation Technology /Information Technology) from a government recognized polytechnic Institute with minimum 50% marks in overall aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma or in intermediate /matriculation if English is not a subject in diploma. ·      For Group ‘Y’ TradesExcept Auto Tech, IAF (P), IAF(S) & Musician Trades) - Candidate should  have passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Class XII or Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central / State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate as well as in English in Class XII or equivalent examination OR Passed two years vocational course from Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.

·      For Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) Medical Assistant Trade - Candidate should have passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Class XII or Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English approved by Central / State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate as well as in English in Class XII or equivalent examination.

 

Age Limit :

·      Candidates born between 17 Jan 2000 and 30 December 2003 (both inclusive)

Pay Scale:

·       Rs. 14,600/- per month on training shall be paid. After completion of the training, Rs. 33,100/- per month plus Dearness allowance (as applicable) will be provided.

Selection Process: 

·       The selection process of the Indian Air Force Bharti Rally Gujarat includes the following stages:

·       Physical Fitness Test (PFT): PFT consists of a 1.6 KM run to be completed within 6 minutes 30 seconds. Candidates shall also have to complete 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, and 20 squats within the stipulated time to qualify in the physical fitness test.

·       Written Test: All candidates who qualify PFT shall undertake a written test on the same or subsequent day depending on the local conditions. The written test will be objective type and question paper shall be bilingual (English & Hindi) except for English paper. Answers are to be annotated on the OMR sheet. A detailed procedure shall be explained before the conduct of the examination. The duration of the written test will be 45 minutes and shall comprise of English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA). CANDIDATES ARE TO QUALIFY IN EACH PAPER SEPARATELY. The results of the written test shall be declared on the same day. 1 Mark will be given for each correct answer and 0.25 marks will be conducted for each wrong answer.

·       Adaptability Test-1: All candidates who pass the written test shall undertake adaptability test-1 on the same or subsequent day depending on the local conditions. Adaptability Test-1 is to assess the suitability of a candidate for employment in the IAF which involves deployment in varied geographical terrain, weather, and operational conditions.

·       Adaptability Test-2: All candidates who pass adaptability test-1 will have to undertake adaptability test-2 as per policy in vogue. Adaptability Test-2 is to select candidates who can adapt to the environment if the Indian Air Force and are able to adjust to the military way of life.

·       Medical Examination: Candidates who qualify Adaptability Test-2 shall be medically examined in the month of October 2020 at SMC, AF STN Yelakanka

·       The final Selection list will be displayed at 06 Airmen Selection Centre, Air Force Station Cotton Green, Mumbai – 400033 on 31 Oct 2020. The selected candidates can join up to 6 months of the display of the selection list.
